libdbd-ldap-perl software package provides Perl extension for LDAP access via an SQL/Perl DBI interface, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdbd-ldap-perl
libdbd-ldap-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdbd-ldap-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdbd-ldap-perl *
You will get with libdbd-ldap-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
